HCL Preservation & Imaging
The Preservation & Imaging program in the Harvard College Library, acting on behalf of students, faculty members, and researchers at Harvard University and beyond, manages and implements programs and projects dedicated to conserving the vast modern collections in the Harvard College Library, and providing a wide array of reformatting services to the Harvard community and other programs and individuals.
Conservation Services and Imaging Services in the Harvard College Library, together with the Weissman Preservation Center in the Harvard University Library, provide a suite of high quality services directed at protecting, conserving, and reproducing library and other cultural heritage materials.

Harvard College Library Conservation Services is comprised of two groups:
- the HCL Collections Conservation Laboratory (in Widener Library)
- the Binding and Shelf Preparation group (at 625 Massachusetts Avenue).
